Hi,
You're receiving this email because {name} thinks the Weedline Flasher would interest you.
The history of using a flasher has been mainly used for bluewater species. But here is a little tip that will help you with your weed line species.
The John Dory is a weed line species that is very sought after and using the John Dory's inquisitive nature we can set the weed line flasher up to bring them in.
The John Dory's target prey is yellow-eyed mullet, spotties, sprats, and mackerel. In the build of the weed line flasher, we have replicated the John Dory's prey with the smaller fish-shaped disks which also reflect light simulating feeding and schooling of its prey.
To use the weed line flasher you need to apply it strategically. Find a weed line that looks fishy, make sure its at a safe depth you can dive to. Deploy the flasher about 1 meter away from the weed line and have the weighted squid sitting on the sand.
The goal is to have the weighted squid bouncing up and down on the sand. Lay the weighted squid on the sand with about 30cm of flasher on the sand, this way with the swell moving it will lift up the sand, creating the look of a feeding frenzy. With the moving reflective disks and sand moving the John Dory's inquisitive nature will get the better of them and they will come into inspect.
You can wait and watch the weed line flasher working or if you want to go off exploring do so, just leave the flasher working and on your return, you should be rewarded with a John Dory if they are around.
The weed line flasher comes in a compact travel case that is watertight which also acts as your weed line flasher float. This travel case comes with a stainless clip which allows you to clip it onto your current float for towing.
This is a great hassle-free accessory to take with you spearfishing, that is compact and will only add value to your spearing.
